A parent on the opposing team had just made a remark about “that girl” dominating the game. I’m sure it was a statement of admiration, but by the end of last season some of these compliments sound like criticism. I’m a little sensitive. She isn’t the tallest, fastest, or most aggressive kid on the field. She just gets it. So SHUT UP! Shut up before I let my baby girl kick your ass.
